Case Study: Learn2Live Sensory Garden

| |
Our paint has a reputation for hard-wearing industrial use. It can be found in no-nonsense environments, where function comes first and decorative value is – at best – a secondary consideration. Such places commonly include warehouse and workshop floors, factories, ships, and industrial facilities – but not often works of art; which is why we were delighted to see what disability charity Learn2Live had achieved with our paint, in a beautiful sensory garden mural for people with learning difficulties.
Learn2Live works with young adults with disabilities, supporting them to learn everyday life skills, through practical activities such as cooking and baking, and using art to enhance creativity and independence. The charity does a great job for vulnerable people in the community and we are pleased to have been able to contribute in our small way. These images show different aspects of the mural, depicting insects, flowers, rolling hills and trees in rich, autumnal colours. Our thanks to the Learn2Live team and service users for their hard work, and we look forward to seeing more artwork in the future! The Learn2Live sensory garden mural shows that while our paint is formulated for performance and durability, it is also capable of being used for great artistic expression. In fact, with a limitless colour palette and the capacity to retain a crisp, high-quality finish whatever the weather might throw at it, our paints are ideal for outdoor artworks in schools, pubs, playgrounds, parks and other spaces.
