Here's everything you need to know about the different types of floor paint. 

Garage Floor Paint

Designed to suit busy environments, our garage floor paint provides you with a durable, hardwearing coating. It can withstand the heavy foot traffic and wear associated with vehicles, including the frequent movement and oil or chemical spills. This means you save time and money by having to recoat your floors less often.

Concrete Floor Paint

 The concrete floor paint from TA Paints comes as a single-pack or two-pack depending on your requirements. For areas where extra grip is needed, we would recommend you opt for a non-slip finish with extra mixed-in aggregate.

Wood Floor Paint

Provide long-lasting protection for your wood floor with our paints, specifically formulated for the task. If you wish your wooden floors to maintain their look for longer, proper preparation and aftercare is recommended. We stock everything else you need for your project including primers and sealers.

Non-Slip Floor Paint

If safety is a top priority for your project, then non-slip floor paint is what you need for the task. The pre-mixed aggregate allows for a rough finish preventing accidental slips. For high traffic areas, we would recommend two-pack anti-slip epoxy paint that provides a hard-wearing finish.  

What is the Best Paint for Floors?  

Your floor is an area often exposed to heavier traffic, which makes it susceptible to wear.  The best floor paint to use will depend on the area you’re looking to apply it to. In general, polyurethane or epoxy-based paints are both highly recommended for floor applications due to their great durability. 

What is the Toughest Floor Paint?

Epoxy floor paint is by far the most hard-wearing type of paint on the market. Although you need to take greater care during mixing and application, two-pack epoxy floor paint provides a tougher finish compared to solvent-based alternatives.
