This product is not suitable for the following
  • Tiles of any sort
  • Unprimed plastic
  • Bare aluminium (you will need a suitable etch primer)
  • Untreated galvanised steel (Mordant solution first)
  • A hot surface that reaches above 106 degrees (C) (you will need high temperature paints)

Description

Europrime 1 is a quick drying, high build zinc phosphate primer formulated on a fast drying enamel resin, ideal for protecting mild steel and other metal surfaces. This ready-to-use aerosol provides excellent corrosion resistance and creates a strong foundation for subsequent topcoats.

  • Gates, Railings, Metal Fencing, and Wrought Iron

  • Skips, Containers, Cladding, and Structural Steel

  • Industrial Buildings, Barns, Fabrication Work

  • RSJs, Excavators, Digger Buckets, and Metal Furniture

  • General metalwork, steel structures, and refurbishment projects

Painting Over Existing Paint? Always test a small area first. Quick-drying primers should not be applied over white spirit based paints, as it will attack the existing coating.

  • Drying Time: Touch dry in 20–30 minutes. Recoat after 1 hour and within 4 hours. If more than 4 hours has passed, allow 12 hours before recoating to prevent film attack.

  • Build in Layers: Use 2+ coats in different directions for smooth, even coverage.

Blocked Nozzle?

Aerosols can occasionally block. If this happens, shake the can, turn it upside down, and spray for a few seconds. This will clear the nozzle and restore normal spray
