This product is not suitable for the following
  • Tiles of any sort
  • Unprimed plastic
  • Bare aluminium (you will need a suitable etch primer)
  • Untreated galvanised steel (Mordant solution first)
  • A hot surface that reaches above 106 degrees (C) (you will need high temperature paints)

Mordant Solution

T Wash / Mordant solution is used on galvanized steel to neutralise the salts in the galvanizing so that paint coatings can be applied and adhere.

Coverage is 60-70 meters squared per 5 Litre

 


Directions for use

  • Firstly apply the solution with a brush, watering can or rag to galvanized steel
  •  Leave for 1-2 hours, the galvanizing will turn black
  •  Wash off with plent of water
  •  Allow to dry fully
  •  Apply suitable primer, then 12-24 hours after apply suitable top coat
